FULL-TIME, REGIONAL LGBTI+ COMMUNITY OUTREACH WORKER
CREATING LGBTI+ VISIBILITY & SUPPORT IN THE NORTH EAST REGION
The post will require an enthusiastic, experienced person with a
passion for community development work.
The primary goal of the role is to engage with services and
individuals to develop a range of supports for LGBT people living in
the North East. Furthermore, to support the work of existing groups to
develop new and sustainable supports.
THIS POST INVOLVES SIGNIFICANT WORK ON EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS, TRAVEL
ACROSS THE NORTH EAST COUNTIES AND REQUIRES BOTH A FULL DRIVING
LICENSE AND OWN CAR.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Experience of working in a paid capacity as a Community worker or
similar.
* A recognised appropriate third level degree.
* Experience of working with LGBT issues is essential.
* Preference would be given to candidate with training delivery
experience.
